Meet Dr. Savage
A native of Birmingham, Alabama, Dr. Savage graduated with honors from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry. Then, she went on to complete her three-year residency in orthodontics and received her post-doctoral Master of Science degree.
Dr. Savage was the first woman to serve as the president of the Alabama Association of Orthodontists and the Alabama Orthodontic Alumni Association. She has also served as a delegate to the Alabama Dental Association and on many state and national committees. In addition, Dr. Savage enjoys staying involved in the Birmingham community.
Meet Dr. Weissman
Dr. Weissman has provided orthodontic care in Birmingham since 1994. She completed her undergraduate degree at Tulane University and received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry.
She has served as president of the Alabama Association of Orthodontists and the Alabama Orthodontic Alumni Association, as well as the orthodontic consultant for the local chapter of Seattle Study Club and The Spears Study Club. In addition, she has also been on the Executive Council of the Birmingham District Dental Society and a delegate to the Alabama Dental Association.
Lastly, she has published several articles in international dental and orthodontic journals.
Meet Dr. Law
Dr. Law is a native Woodstock, GA. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Summa Cum Laude with Honors in 2008. Then she attended the University of Alabama-Birmingham and earned her dental degree in 2012.
While in dental school, Dr. Law received many honors including being selected to be a Japanese exchange program delegate and a UAB Dental Admission committee hostess. She also received an award from the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) for her interest in the oro-facial complex. Upon graduation, Dr. Law received the school’s highest honor, the Dean’s Medal, given to one senior for outstanding scholarship and leadership.
She stayed at UAB for her residency where she became involved early with the AAO. She also attended the first Young Leader’s Forum her first year in residency. The next year, the governance task force committee selected her to be a stakeholder. Dr. Law also passed the orthodontic board exam of the American Board of Orthodontics, making her a board-certified orthodontist.
